| Desc | Enter a short header description of the standard journal entry in this field. The header is used to describe the standard journal entry. |
| Reversing | A yes or no flag that indicates whether the standard journal entry is an automatically reversing journal entry . |
| Type | Select M (M=manual) in order to be able to modify the dollar amount and account when using a standard journal entry, select S (S=standard) if you do not wish to modify dollar amounts and/or accounts. |
| Acct |
Select the account to debit or credit as part of the standard journal entry. F3 shows a list of all accounts. |
| CC |
Enter the cost center associated with the standard journal entry. If there is only one cost center, or a cost center has been set as a default, it will automatically display in this field. Press F3 to view a list of all centers, if you wish to enter a different cost center. |

A short description of the journal entry line. Press Enter and the description you entered in the Desc field will default into this line. |
